This very unique deck of Communication Cards was created from a Past Life Regression (PLR) that happened in 2018. Octavia, was facilitating a Past Life Regression for a woman named Rachel. Often during Regression sessions, loved ones come through and attempt to make contact with the person receiving the PLR. This is a common occurrence. Abel, came through quickly and strongly and made his desire to communicate with Rachel known. He had been waiting. He was bold in his greeting and reminded Rachel of personal information so that she would know it was him. They were very close friends in High School, but then Abel was killed in a tragic car accident shortly after. Abel referenced the accident and how he died to Rachel, assuring her that he did not suffer. He was able to make contact and was very clear in wanting her to know that he loved her and was waiting for her. Abel brought up situations concerning Rachel’s oldest child, a boy, that Abel has a strong connection with. They were able to put two and two together and share memories about situations and times that Abel was “there”. The reunion between the two of them was deep, heartfelt, loving, and nothing short of incredible for both parties.
After the PLR was over, Abel “stuck around” with Octavia . . . for weeks. He popped in and out and was never afraid to share his opinion about things and people with Octavia. For example, Octavia was at dinner with Sharon, another Medium, one evening and during the whole dinner, Abel was sharing his dislike for Sharon, and even urged Octavia to get up and walk out the door. This made for a challenging dinner date with a friend for Octavia! Abel was full of opinionated comments until Sharon looked up from her plate and said “you can tell him that I don’t like him either!” Abel’s ability to be “heard” by another person seemed to trump all his negative feelings. He allowed Octavia to finish her dinner in peace.
Another one of the evenings that Abel “popped in”, was a late Friday night. He explained his desire to communicate with Rachel “without” Octavia. He wanted to communicate directly. He posed the idea of a deck written and created by someone who had passed (himself). Octavia quickly did some research to see if there was such a deck out there! She found nothing. Abel wanted to write/create the cards himself, with his loved one in mind (Rachel). That exact night, Octavia stayed up with Abel as he created each card. Octavia created the
graphics herself, but Abel had the creative design authority on that too! This was his deck, dedicated to someone he loved while alive, and still loves to this day. The entire deck was written in one night.
The project then sat for a few years until Octavia was in Sedona, AZ in 2022 visiting close friends. Abel popped in again and was open and honest about his impatience with not getting the deck finalized in a timely manner. With the help of Octavia’s friends at the Center for the New Age in Sedona, the project was on its way to completion. Abel was clear in his intentions, he wanted a deck of cards that “got rid of the middle-man (or woman)”. He wanted EVERYONE to have the opportunity to communicate and connect with a loved one, not only those who could afford to pay a Medium of Channeler. He wanted the opportunity to be available anytime, anywhere, to anyone. Hence, “Death Speaks” was born. The title of the desk was also Abel’s idea!
